Late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi’s daughter has eulogized her father in an emotional video collage she shared on social media.
The Nigerian entertainment industry was yet again thrown into mourning with the tragic passing of Murphy Afolabi.
In a post by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf on his Instagram page, the Yoruba actor was confirmed dead in the early hours of Sunday, May 14.
Praying for his soul to rest in peace, he bade the actor farewell.
“We lost a strong Filmmaker Murphy Afolabi….
May God rest your soul bro”.
The Yoruba movie star is said to have fallen in his bathroom and hit his head on the floor leading to his death.
His death is coming a week after he celebrated his 49th birthday on May 5.
Reacting to his death, Murphy Afolabi’s daughter Faithia Afolabi shared a video collage of his photos and some they shared together. Obviously pained, she captioned the post:
“This is too much for me daddy.”
The late actor was a father of three—two boys, and one girl: Afolabi Olamilekan, Afolabi Fathia Moyosore, and Okikiola Afolabi.
