Biola Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo others mourn Murphy Afolabi’s death


As the Nigerian entertainment industry has yet again been thrown into mourning with the tragic passing of Murphy Afolabi, actors have taken to social media to grieve, while expressing their shock regarding his sudden death.

Murphy Afolabi was confirmed dead in the early hours of today, Sunday May 14 by one of his colleagues, Tunde Ola Yusuf.


The Yoruba movie star is said to have fallen in his bathroom and hit his head on the floor leading to his death.

His death is coming a week after he celebrated his 49th birthday on May 5.

Taking to their social media platforms, Yoruba movie stars like Odunlade Adekola, Biola Adebayo, Funke Etti,  Mistura Asuramu, Bakare Zainab, amongst others have tagged their posts black Sunday.

Fans of the deceased have also stormed his Instagram page to mourn him while expressing their shock.
