It is indeed a moment of joy and celebration for award-winning Nollywood filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba, who has just officially commenced her marital journey.
Weeks after the King of Boys filmmaker shared the news of her engagement to lover, Oscar, they finally exchanged marital vows in front of friends and family members on Friday, April 22.
Adetiba had initially taken to her Instagram page with a teaser post where she indicated that she is looking forward to having a great day.

Several hours after the photo post, a video from the couple’s private ceremony surfaced on social media to the delight of many.
From indications, the husband and wife only had a few people over in the warm and intimate wedding ceremony.
Kemi was seen holding her man closely as a man of God officiated.

Recall Kemi Adetiba had shared beautiful moments from her surprise marriage proposal, which took place in Ghana on 28th January 2022.
Kemi Adetiba revealed that her lover, Oscar Heman-Ackah popped up the big question, and she wholeheartedly said yes.
She wrote: We’ve taken some time to privately enjoy this moment and bask in the celebration of it all. However, we’re beginning to understand it might be next to impossible keeping a lid on this for much longer.
After thinking long and hard, we ultimately would love for this announcement to be on our own terms and molded in our own true narrative. Plus, you all here have followed my journey from the start and lovingly root for me – Now if that isn’t FAMILY, I don’t know what is 🙂
So dear FAMILY, on the 28th of January in Ghana, delivered as a beautiful suprise and expression of love, and in the presence of some close friends and family, @oscarhemanackah asked that we spend the rest of our lives together, and I wholeheartedly said YES… without a single reservation.
I would like to add here, that every single friend or member of my family that conspired in this suprise proposal, should just be on the look out for my retaliation… Cos it’ll be merciless!!.
