‘That’s not what I signed up for, I will never sign up for that. Bye bye’ – Nigerian Lady Claims Her Spouse Becoming A Pastor May Lead To Separation, Nigerians react

A female tweep has revealed that her partner is gradually getting closer to God and it’s something she didn’t imagine or wish for.

According to the socialite identified as @Tejumola_, her man is becoming a pastor and it’s enough reason for her to walk away. She claims that’s not what she wished for when she decided to be with him.

She made this known via the microblogging platform, Twitter. She wrote;

My spouse becoming a pastor is enough grounds for separation. That’s not what I signed up for, I will never sign up for that. Bye bye.

Her postulation has since evoked a barrage of reactions from netizens who shared their thoughts and opinions on it. Ghgossip culled some reactions below;

Alaye revealed what he would do if his spouse became a Jehovah witness; “I know someone who left his wife when she became a Jehovah witness. I would do the same thing”

Oluwatufunmi had this to say; Have said it times without nunber. Nothing wrong if your husband becomes a pastor. What you should be praying for is God should not add poverty to his call.

Rogers wrote; Well, the call to full time ministry should ideally not be answered alone (if one is married) i.e. without the consultation or support of immediate family. Because the entire family will be affected by it. That said, dialogue and counselling is the preferred initial approach IMO
