Popular Yoruba comic star and comedian, Kunle Adetokunbo who is widely known in the movie scenes as Dejo Tunfulu has reportedly died.
The sad news was made public by his colleague, Kunle Afod who took to his IG wall and wrote; You still posted this picture recently only for me to hear about your death today. This is so sad,Pressy Tunfulu.Daddy Junior, still can’t believe this”
His son-in-law also took to his Twitter page to announce the death of the movie star and producer, saying that the actor passed away this morning.
He wrote; Ina Lillahi wahina Ilahi Rahjiun , plz say a prayer for my father-in-law, Dejotunfulu. We lost him this morning. May Allah grant him Aljanah Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings
However, the cause of the death of the actor has not been revealed yet but his fans and loved ones have flooded the digital space with their deepest condolences expressed to the bereaved family.

His colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry have taken to social media to mourn and pay tribute to him.
The late actor’s son has now confirmed the sad news in a chat with radio OAP, Adeyemi Olabode.
According to the OAP, when he tried the late actor’s phone number to speak to him to debunk the rumours, his phone was picked up by his son who confirmed that he’s truly dead.
“I saw the post about your demise and hurriedly called your line so you can debunk the ‘April fool’ news, but alas! It was picked by your son. You were so kind and down to earth. You are one of the few I do lean on in the entertainment industry. I can’t do without disturbing you with my weekly BC messages on Whatsapp. So we won’t be able to speak again Egbon. So our plans won’t be again? Rest in peace egbon Kunle Mark Tokunbo a.k.a Dejo Tunfulu” Adeyemi Olabode wrote on Facebook
Actress Biodun Okeowo on her part also penned her tribute. Omoborty as she is fondly called said she is not going to post any sponsored ad today on her Instagram page due of the great loss.
She wrote: “My heart is shattered … nothing is making sense at this time. Oh Nooooooooo! I am holding on all posts for today. Mood shattered. RiP Dejo. Brands please bear with me.”
This comes barely 5 months after the death of Popular Nigerian comic Actor, Babatunde Omiidina, otherwise known as Baba Suwe.
