Many people thought the musician decided to give out the money on his own, however, we have chanced upon a post that proves otherwise.

The post was made by the popular Instagram blogger, Cutie Julls and according to the post, it was Davido’s father, Chief Adeleke who asked the musician to donate the money to charity.

The post reads;

“From our reliable amebo headquarters.. Na Papa Davido advised David to give every single kobo of the money he raised to charity.

So apparently Davido’s father kept updating himself about the whole thing. So on the Thursday evening, David had a telephone discussion with his dad not only as his father but as his main advisor. Mr Adeleke advised his son to give it all to those who need it more.
And David acted accordingly. He informed his team immediately about his decision and the new development

Wow! God bless Chairman Adeleke. This is indeed selfless ❤️”

Meanwhile, A female Instagram user, Sherifah Adeshola recounted an encounter she had during a cab ride. The lady narrated how her favourite Davido song came up during the ride and it sparked a conversation with the cabman and herself.
