The fictitious wife of Mr Macaroni in comedy skits, Kemi Ikuseedun popularly known as Mummy Wa, has revealed that some people believe they are married in real life.
Mummy Wa made this revelation in a recent interview with Legit.ng, while expressing her gratitude to the comedian for giving her the opportunity to play the role of Mrs. Macaroni in his videos.
According to her, playing the role of Mrs. Macaroni has been strongly imprinted in the minds of their fans that some think she is dating the comedian in reality.
In her words,
“People assume that I am dating Mr Macaroni in real life. Maybe it’s because the character I play is Mrs Macaroni. It’s fine. When they watch our skits they embody everything. They put everything in their minds, spirits, which is good and nice. Some people think we are married in real life.”
Clearing the speculation during an interview with SATURDAY BEATS, she said
“My relationship with Mr Macaroni is more like that of an elder brother and sister. He is my boss. He brought me out of a particular stage of my life and gave me a character that I am really grateful and happy for. Being in this industry made me meet some really special, intelligent and smart people. Adebayo Abidemi, popularly known as Isbae_U, is one of such people. I am very grateful and happy that I am doing something I love with him. I also appreciate Mr Macaroni, and I constantly thank him for everything he has done for me. I thank him for giving me the platform (to showcase my talent).”
Speaking on how long she wears her costume before shooting skits, she said, “For Mr Macaroni’s skits, I usually wear the same thing because of the role I play. Apart from my own shoot and that of Isbae_U, I wear my everyday clothes. I have only acted as a ‘freaky freaky’ babe twice in Mr Macaroni’s skits. After then, people did not even know it was me when I started playing the ‘Mummy Wa’ role.”
Speaking on how she deals with attention from men, the well endowed actress said,
“I don’t really feel all that. It’s just once in a while that I dress up. I prefer hoodies, I like wearing shorts and cover-ups. I think every girl gets that attention basically, I don’t want to think it’s because I am buzzing.”
She also share an embarrassing, but funny encounter she had with a fan. According to her, she boarded a bus and someone sent her a message on Instagram saying ‘I can see you on a red top.’
Mummy Wa also revealed some of the actors she would like to work with, “This is really tough to answer because I like a lot of them. I have worked with one of them already and that is Bimbo Ademoye. She is one actress I love and admire. I would also love to work with Toyin Abraham though I have been on her set before. I played a cameo role in her movie, ‘Alakada Reloaded’. I would love to work more with her. I would also love to work with Funke Akindele and Mercy Johnson. I really admire these women.”
