The former Miss Lux died in her hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers state today June 14. There are reports she died of Cardiac Arrest.

Ibidun is survived by her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the head pastor of Trinity House church, and their two adopted children, Keke and Zenan.

Until her death, she ran the popular events company, Elizabeth R and had been travelling around the country building COVID19 Isolation centres. She left Lagos for Port Harcourt on Friday June 12th for work.

And just last week, Ibidun paid a visit to her father’s grave. Ibidun also helped many couples who were finding it difficult to have children through her foundation.

May her gentle, beautiful soul rest in peace, Amen.

Her husband’s church shared a black image on their IG page this morning.

After the news of late Ibidunni’s death broke out today, all and sundry have being in the state of mourning reminiscing about her last moments. A particular video of Ibidunni and her husband playing some days to her departure from mother earth has deepened the grief of everyone. It could be seen that she and her husband Pastor Ituah Ighodalo were very fond of each other. Only God knows his state of grief at the moment.

Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and Ibidunni were married for 13 years.

In an interview in Thisday of September 4, 2016, she opened up on her search for a child.

According to the former beauty queen, having prayed and sought different avenues for a medical solution and with the problem not willing to be wished away, Ibidun decided to be happy by adopting.

“Thank you Father for making a way, for guiding me, for holding me, for giving me joy, for sending me peace and for completely showing my family Favour. Papa my prayer would not be complete if I don’t ask you to open the eyes of my other women trusting you for the fruit of the womb to have an open mind to different ways of becoming a ‘MOTHER’.

So many children are out there looking for love and a home to call their own. I pray they experience the joy of motherhood as I do now and open their hearts to you to listen to as many options as you have provided….. Adoption does not mean you have failed them but is a way of showing what blessings you have in store for them if only they will yield to You…. a blessing which is priceless…

I thank you for my two adorable kids, I could never trade them for anything in the world…. looking forward to your instruction on looking after more children ? ?” she revealed then.

Until her death,  Ibidunni Ighodalo was the chief executive officer of Elizabeth R, a leading public relations and events management company.

Meanwhile the family has released an official statement that reads thus:
