Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele-Bello’s fanbase just increased and continues to grow.
She just hit the 12M followers mark on Instagram, making her the Nollywood actress with the highest number of followers on the app.
The excited movie star took to social media to celebrate as she posted a customised photo to mark the occasion.
The mum of two also thanked her fans for their love and declared them the best.

In another news, on Sunday, December 20, Funke Akindele’s much anticipated movie, Omo Ghetto (The Saga) was successfully premiered ahead of its Christmas Day release to cinemas.
The premiere was indeed star studded as top Nigerian celebrities stepped out in their ‘Rugged attires’ to grace the occasion.
The likes of Chioma Akpotha, BBN Tacha, Don Jazzy, Toke Makinwa, Stephanie Coker, Denola Grey, Uti Nwachukwu, Beverly Naya, Alexx Ekubo, Bisola and lots more were seen dressed in different ‘Ghetto Styles’.
The movie Omo Ghetto (The Saga) is a sequel from Omo Ghetto which was released few years ago, directed by Abiodun Olarenwaju and produced by Funke Akindele-Bello.
The movie stars Funke Akindele-Bello, Peju Ogunmola, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Thomas, Rachel Oniga, Adebayo Salami, Taiwo Hassan, Yinka Quadri, Ronke Ojo, Bisi Komolafe, and it follows the lives of two identical twins living separate lives. An unfortunate incident sheds more light to their birth, paternity and troubling behaviour.
A sequel for this classic – Omo Ghetto (The Saga) – is set for cinema release December 25, 2020.
The movie was first announced in February 2020 with Funke Akindele-Bello sharing a throwback photo of herself and Eniola Badmus on Instagram.
