Nigerians from all works of life have reacted to the Supreme Court judgment that upheld the victory of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gboyega Oyetola, in the 2018 gubernatorial election in Osun state.

While some Nigerians mocked the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), others assured him of their love and support in this trying time.

A Twitter user identified as Mogaji ‘Batunde simply shared an old picture of ex-governor of Osun state Rauf Aregbesola and the national leader of APC Bola Tinubu. In the picture both APC chieftain could be seen dancing and smiling.

The presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, however, assured Adeleke of standing with him in good times and in difficult days.

Atiku tweeted: “I join with people of goodwill all over Nigeria to say to Senator Ademola Adeleke, and the people of the great state of Osun, that we stand with them in good times and in difficult days.

“The Supreme Court has ruled and because of its judicial finality, the legal case is over.”

In his own reaction, Tolu Ogunlesi tweeted: “Adeleke is not coming. In fact, nobody is coming anywhere.”

A Twitter identified as Maximus said Governor Oyetola should be magnanimous enough to invite David Adeleke to play at his victory party.

Sir.Ariyo-Dare Atoye alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collided with security agencies to rig the 2018 Osun state election.

He said that the alleged rigging was validatd by the Supreme Court.
