A hijab is a fabric designed to cover the head of women, and many Muslim women wear hijabs on a daily basis as it is accustomed to the Islamic religion for women to cover their heads when they pray.
Hijabs are made in different styles, some are made to cover ones head to the shoulder, others to the length of the arm and some covers the entire body from head to the ankle of one’s legs.
Some Muslims believe that the true test of a woman’s faith is when she wears her hijab every day and everywhere not only when she wants to pray.
A Nigerian Twitter user who seems to be in this category has taken to social media to praise a governor’s wife who rocks her hijab everywhere.

The first lady of Gombe state Hajiya Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, wife of Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, is seen wearing her hijab every day. The young man identified by his Twitter handle as Haji Shehu shared photos of the governor’s wife on his page.

Haji Shehu claimed that the governor’s wife is the only first lady out of all the wives of Nigerian governors who rocks hijab.
He said: “She is the only wife of the governor who wears hijab. H. E Hajiya Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, the wife of Gombe state Governor. Show me your Governors wife with hijab.”
