Nigerian politics recently took a new turn after a new set of leaders were elected into office and sworn in on May 29, 2019.
Several Nigerians are pleased to welcome the new set of governors and also retain some of the old ones.
However, these set of men have been in the limelight for a while now due to their political ambition and not many Nigerians are familiar with their wives.
We gathered 8 beautiful photos of the wives of some Nigerian governors.

By the grace of Almighty God and Your votes, I stand before you today as your Governor. This day marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey to greatness. Today, I ask you to join me on this journey to awaken a Greater Lagos. When we speak of a Greater Lagos, we speak not empty words. It is a deep and profound assertion we mean. We intend to make history by making for ourselves and our children a better future. Therefore, on this day, on this precious land we call our home, let us stand together in the very face of history. Let us vow to ourselves, and to posterity that we shall not just dream of a Greater Lagos. Let us agree this day that we shall collectively rise up to build the Lagos of our dreams. We need not be discouraged by the challenges that may be apparent. Today is an opportunity for us to forge ahead in our quest for a Greater Lagos. It is possible! #foragreaterlagos @drobafemihamzat

Yesterday, my dear wife and I attended the post-Inauguration Thanksgiving Jummah Service that was held at Egba Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta. At the service, I expressed my sincere gratitude to God Almighty who made it possible for us to be victorious by not disappointing us in our prayers. Truthfully, God's way is not human ways and that is why we were made to cross many political hurdles as we journeyed towards success during our electioneering campaign. For without this, we would not have been able to identify God's greatness and appreciate what He has done. With this victory, I bear no grudge against anyone and despite the vilification we encountered, I have forgiven those who might think they have offended me and as such, I will not run a vindictive government. Our government will be all inclusive. We will be FAIR, JUST, TRANSPARENT, EQUITABLE and respect the rule of LAW. We will not run a government meant for families, friends and cronies, but for the generality of our people across Ogun State. Above all, I made it known to the gathering that we will provide good and accountable governance and ensure a wider spread democratic dividends to everyone, irrespective of who they are or where they live within Ogun State.
