Cynthia Morgan returned with a bang this year titled “am Taken” Not only did she rebrand and changed her stage name to Madrina, she released her first song under her own imprint, TCMC. The dream of the singer who was the rave of the moment with a smooth ride to stardom was short-lived as she made a questionable exit from the music scene. Mo’Cheddah revealed that she decided to retire from music after realizing that it made her unfulfilled. She went on to reveal that the pressure and demands of being a celebrity caused her to lose herself and eventually fall into a deep depression and become suicidal. She is currently focusing on her fashion line and marriage.

Elohor Eva Alordiah, better known as Eva Alordiah or simply Eva, is a Nigerian rapper, entertainer, make-up artist, fashion designer and entrepreneur. She is considered one of the best female rappers in Nigeria. Rapper Eva Alordiah made a shocking revelation in 2016 on Instagram of her intention to quit music. According to the Lights Out singer, she is ending another chapter in her life and she is ready for another, although people felt it was because of her engagement. Eva engagement sadly crashed one year later. The singer who turned 31 on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, took to her Instagram page on the same day to share a rather shocking detail about almost taking her life. If there is one thing Eva didn’t completely do is leave the music scene, she do post musical content on Instagram and on YouTube every now and then.

Sasha P, also known as the First Lady of Nigerian Hip Hop, is a Nigerian rapper, musician, businesswoman, lawyer and motivational speaker. Sasha P ruled the airwaves, from Radio to TV, as her musical offerings enjoyed airplay across the stations. Her success helped pave the way for other female rappers and musicians in Nigerian hip-hop. In 2013 she decided to take a break from the music to focus on being an entrepreneur. Since her break from music to focus on her clothing line, Eclectic by Sasha, little or nothing has been heard from her musically.

Weird MC is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and producer. Known for her English/Yoruba lyrics, Weird MC – also known as Shola Idowu and The Rappatainer. Weird Mc has since took a bow from the music scene. Since she ditched the mic, she has worked behind the scenes in the music industry, using her influence to push younger artists and also exploring her other hobbies, such as politics.
