Big blow

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not only miss the rest of this season, he could miss a big chunk of next season too.

That is if reports by ESPN FC are to be believed, who believe the new timescale on Zlatan’s injury is 8/9 months.

This would take him beyond his current contract with Manchester United but also half way into a new one if he was to sign.

That will come as a huge blow to the player as well to Jose Mourinho, who will now have to evaluate a new deal with Ibra.

Should a decision be made that signing a new deal is not ideal from either player or club, he could well leave.

That will come as a big blow with the Swedish forward having a massive effect on the team this season.

Ibra’s Man Utd career over in a flash. Crazy how life just comes at you so fast.
