My parents arrived back in the country and my dad looked well rested. At this point in time, I had emailed my school in the US to defer my admission to the following year, and I went back to work without any worries of side talk form “amebos” on how I was gonna be a baby mama to one of the major stakeholders of the company.

I had totally blocked Goriola out, barred him on my calls and all social media pages. I found it so easy to not even miss him and it was kind of shocking to me, because it just wasn’t me lol. Now I can say maybe because I had my parents and friends support, I was able to move on with all my daily routine.

I was about 2 months and a week gone when Sola called me onb the phone and asked my help to get Sinmi back in his life. It was a shocker for me because I never thought he would come back to his senses. I guess he is done tasting the “ghana jollof” and knows for sure that naija jollof sweet pass. I sent a message to Aisha and Lolade to meet us up at four point that night, knowing that Sinmi was out of town for a training in Abuja.

Sola opened up his mind, telling us how much he missed Sinmi and how scared he was that she probably had moved on. Aisha was the sympathetic one who told him Sinmi missed him too. “come on keep quiet Aisha, and don’t give this dude high hopes biko” Lolade said, and I busted into a deep throated laughter.

“well, Sola, you can not eat your cake and have it, Sinmi at this point is seeing somebody else and I am not sure how you are gonna win her back” I said

“babes please help me out on this, even my mum and sis are still mad at me for treating Sinmi badly” Sola said.

“wow Sola, leave story jare” I said as my phone rang and I saw it was my big sis. It was quiet surprising because we still spoke on the phone some few hours ago. Then my sis was like “please pass the phone over to Aisha” That was kind of weird to me, but I did as she asked.

“inna lilahi wahinali rajihun” Aisha screamed, then I got the bombshell………. MY DAD IS DEAD………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I guess I fainted, because I woke up at Magodo, not remembering how I got there. My world came shattering right in front of me and I held on to my mum shaking in tears.

That night, I was too scared to go to bed, but Sinmi who had flew in late that night walked me to the bathroom to have my bath, and that was when I got my second shocker. As I pulled off my panties to get into the warm lavender Epsom salt water in the tub, I felt a bad cramp in my belly and then saw blood dripping like I was on my period. The cramp got worse that I slid slowly to the tiled floor as Sinmi grabbed me. I felt woozy in the head and then felt another sharp pain. Being in the healthcare field, I knew I was having a miscarriage.

I know some of yall will be wondering if this is the darkest point of my life. Yes, I can say for sure those days were the darkest I had ever felt in my whose 30 years on earth. I am not totally over it all now, but I can say of the fact that I have those days behind me with only memories to carry me on. My life no hard reach that one now o LOL.

I want y’all to simply know that your opinions are welcome and many times I will ask for your advice as the chronicles unfold. I’m just glad I have a place to finally share for readers who have in some way found themselves in this position.

Look out for SEASON 2 in a lil bit – a whole lot more on my sex-capades and wild 20’s life *wink*

Thank you all for the encouragements, comments and personal messages.

XOXO for the night, Shakiti Baby
