Nigerian Man linked with ISIS arrested in Germany



A Nigerian linked with terror group, Islamic State popularly known as ISIS has been arrested.

The Nigerian, aged 29, was arrested by German police following Intel that he and an Iraqi who is aged 46 are planning serious act of violence.

According to Reuters, security sources, both men could have been in contact with members of Islamic State.

The two suspects have been detained in the Bavarian capital Munich police said adding there had been no imminent threat to the public.

Recall that Islamic State released a video on Tuesday suggesting it might carry out further attacks in the West, naming London, Berlin and Rome as possible targets.

Nigeria is also battling home grown terror group, Boko Haram which only last year pledged its loyalty to the ISIS.

Meanwhile, the Civilian JTF members have foiled a massive Boko Haram attack on Maiduguri, Borno state capital on April 8, Friday.

The four suicide attackers on a suicide mission were killed near Jimini village in Jere LGA area on the outskirts of state’s capital this morning.
