The unauthorised reproduction/recording (piracy) of movies like Kunle Afolayan‘s October 1, Ayo Makun‘s 30 Days in Atlanta and others and the sales of such have prompted a reaction from Nollywood practitioners.
But unlike several times in the past when people would just condemn these actions and move on, practitioners seem ready to swing into action.
NET gathered that practitioners in the movie industry will gather for a peaceful protest march against Piracy on Monday, April 20, 2015. The protesters, to be led by Yemi Sodimu, Yinka Akanbi and others, will converge at Ikeja under bridge and March through Alausa and Ikeja environs to register their displeasure.
