Former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has once again declared her intention to run for the office of the United States President come 2016.
Hilary made the announcement today, Sunday, April 12, 2015 with the release of a video in which she said: ‘I’m getting ready to do something too. I’m running for president. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion, so you can do more than just get by, you can get ahead and stay ahead, because when families are strong, America is strong. So I’m hitting the road to earn your vote, because it’s your time. And I hope you’ll join me on this journey.’
Clinton became a household name in 1992 when her husband, Bill Clinton, won the presidency. Since then, Hillary Clinton has become a force in her own right, serving in the Senate for eight years. She also lost her first shot at the presidency in 2008 and she subsequently led the State Department from 2009 to 2013.
