Reports of Nollywood legend, Richard Mofe Damijo’s defection from PDP to APC flooded social media yesterday and many people were speculating as to the authenticity of this.
RMD has come out to clarify the issue and put an end to all the rumours. In a series of carefully structured tweets, Damijo explained the circumstances that led to people drawing wrong conclusions about his defection.
The veteran actor who currently serves as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State confirmed that he held a meeting with O’tega Emerhor, an APC politician but he denied decamping from PDP to APC.
