Beyonce‘s mother got married at the weekend.
Tina Knowles tied the knot with ‘Poltergeist’ actor, Richard Lawson on a yacht off the California coast last night, Sunday, April 12, 2015, TMZ reports.
All the guests at the wedding, including Beyonce, her husband Jay Z, their three-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy and Tina’s other daughter, Solange Knowles – were asked to wear white to the evening ceremony.
Tina, who split from her daughters’ father, Mathew Knowles, in 2009 after over three decades of marriage, was seen arriving at the venue earlier in the day with Beyonce to check out the yacht, before leaving in a black car and returning later for the ceremony.
While it is unknown how many other guests were at the wedding, the yacht had a maximum capacity of 300 people.
The fashion designer recently opened up about finding love with Richard, who has also been married before – after her divorce.
Tina, who started dating the 68-year old-actor in 2013, said: ‘I’m at my happiest I’ve been in a long, long time.’
In June 2013, Tina’s ex-husband, Mathew married former model, Gena Charmaine Avery in his hometown of Houston, Texas.
