A 52-year-old music teacher ordered the murder of a teenage pupil she dated for a year after he ended their relationship in Shatura, Russia.
Yulia Simonova had showered 15-year-old Damian Vanya with gifts and money for a year before he dumped her for a girl from his class. Searching for revenge Simonova asked her friend to find a hitman to torture and kill the boy in exchange for 100,000 rubles (N400,000). The woman was caught red-handed by a police officer posing as a hitman during a meeting with Simonova.
Specifying her order, the angry teacher said: “You must really beat him up because I want him to suffer from unbearable pain. I want you to break his arms and legs but do not touch his face. Really attack and damage his kidneys because I want him to bleed out. I want to see him in a really bad state and then to just say a few words to him that he will understand. Then we will finish him together.”
After she had handed over some money to the ‘killer’ she was arrested by armed police in her car. She was taken to a police station where she was remanded in custody on charges of organising the attempted murder of a minor. She now faces a 15-year jail sentence if found guilty.
