When asked if she had any inkling that her son would one day become Nigeria’s vice president, she simply said, “What I know is that God knows everything.”

Even though her son is a renowned pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Madam Osinbajo remains an Anglican faithful. When asked how they both managed with this, the proud mother replied, “God is everywhere and I’m happy they are there praying too. Now, look at what God did –wonderful things in our lives. We are grateful to Him.”

Osinbajo’s mother who is a devoted Christian delivered a message of hope for Nigeria which according to her, was sent from God.

She explained,

”This morning, as I was reading my Bible, God said I should say it so that the world will know what is happening. He said Nigeria will be restored and the entire world will worship God. This is what God said I should tell Nigerians, that Nigeria will be restored by the power of God and the world will rejoice in Him.”
