Having reportedly reached 300 goals at the weekend Cristiano Ronaldo proficiency in front of goal has come under the microscope yet again.
The Portuguese captain has scored against an astonishing 82 different clubs while playing for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Ronaldo’s five goal tally in Real Madrid’s 9-1 rout of Granada on Sunday saw him notch his 31st career hattrick and 24th goal in La Liga this season.
30-year-old Ronaldo has now scored 11 times in eight matches, although the far more impressive figure is his goalscoring record against every single club he’s played against.
One club who have taken a significant beating since Ronaldo arrived in La Liga six years ago is Sevilla, with the ex-Manchester United man scoring 18 goals – including three hattricks – against the Andalucian side.
However, Ronaldo’s record of one goal in 15 matches against Chelsea is by far his poorest despite that famous 2008 Champions League final header being arguably his most important in a United shirt.
