Chris Brown was delighted on Friday, March 20, 2015, when Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin agreed the punishment, which was set after he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna, would finish after hearing he has completed all the terms of his sentence, including rehab, domestic violence counselling and community service.
A very relieved Chris tweeted afterwards: ‘IM OFF PROBATION!!!!!!!! Thank the Lord!!!!!!’
However, before yesterday’s hearing, Chris’ probation officer submitted a ‘glowing’ report and withdrew a previous suggestion he should face jail time. Earlier in the day, the ‘Loyal’ hitmaker asked fans to pray for him ahead of the meeting. He tweeted: ‘Hopefully this is my last day in court… pray for me.’
